VIII. COMMUNICATIONS
A. Requirements and Procedures for C.I.M.A.P. Radio Network
Organization
The CIMAP radio network was adopted by members of the organization for the purpose of providing a means of communication between member companies.
Authorization
The CIMAP members operate their radio network on the mutual aid frequency by authority of the Federal Communication Commission. All additions to the CIMAP radio network must be approved by CIMAP and properly licensed by the Federal Communication Commission.
Operating Requirements
a) All individuals operating radio equipment associated with the CIMAP radio network must be employees of a member company, except where a member company has hired contract employees and part of their responsibility is to answer the CIMAP radio.
b) All stations must be operated according to regulations of the Federal Communications Commission and procedures established by the CIMAP organization.
c) All communications to member companies during emergencies shall be via the CIMAP radio network with situation reports approximately every 30 minutes.

Note: When member companies are engaged in network operation each unit must
fully identify itself.
